South Jersey Seasonal Pool Maintenance
In-ground Gold Plan* (our most comprehensive and popular plan):
Summerization:
- Removing your pool cover**, pressure washing the winter’s accumulation of dirt and grime away, chemically treating cover for summer storage… we take care of these details for you, and fold/place it poolside or in a designated area of your choice.
- We lower your anchors and/or empty, clean, and roll your water tubes.
- We remove winter plugs and ice compensators and place them in a zip-loc bag for summer storage.
- We scrub your skimmers with cleanser, and check and re-install all wall fittings, skimmer baskets and deck equipment.
- We reassemble, prime and restart the entire filter equipment area, including the heater (if applicable)***. If you’re not home, we’ll be sure to turn the heater off.
- Once the entire system is running, we thoroughly inspect the equipment pac to check for any leaks and make any service recommendations needed.
- Last, but not least, we apply a chemical wake up kit to the swimming pool and leave you a complete checklist showing all services performed.
*This service, if needed, is billable at our hourly rate.
**It is the customer’s responsibility to remove all water and debris from pool cover prior to our arrival.
*** In the event the heater doesn’t restart, a return trip may be needed (at an additional charge) to diagnose the problem.

Winterization:
- We remove and store wall fittings, skimmer baskets, and deck equipment.winter plugs and ice compensators and place them in a zip-loc bag for summer storage.
- We cover and wrap diving boards, and lower pool water (if needed).
- We blow out and winterize all skimmers, return lines and main drains.
- We install winter plugs, ice compensators in the return lines, and skimmers as per manufacturer’s instructions.
- We drain and winterize filter and pump, and automatic chlroinators.
- We disassemble and clean DE and cartridge filters.
- We check salt chlorine generators for build up on cell.**
- We drain and winterize heaters per manufacturer’s instructions, inspect and clean interior heater cabinet, and remove pressure switch.***
- We remove and store timer clips in the time clock.
- We apply a chemical closing kit to the swimming pool.
- We apply the customer’s winter pool cover and adjust it per the manufacturer’s instructions.
*Filter grids or cartridges that need to be repaired or chemically treated are brought back to the store (at an additional charge).
**If chemical cleaning is necessary, the cell is brought back to the store (at an additional charge).
*** All small parts that are removed (plugs, gauges, sight glass, etc.) are stored in the pump basket or in zip-lock bags.
